β Accessibility Requirements
Rice University requires all blogs.rice.edu sites to meet WCAGβ―2.1 AA standards. To ensure your site is accessible:
- Go to Dashboard > Plugins and activate the “Accessible Content” plugin.
- On each page or post, click the “Accessibility Review” link in the black admin bar at the top.
- Review and fix any flagged issues until the page passes all checks.

CampusPress offers over 300 vetted themes designed for accessibility and mobile responsiveness. We recommend starting with:

Browse and activate themes from Appearance > Themes.
β Managing Comments
To disable comments site-wide or on individual pages:
- Go to Settings > Discussion to set defaults.
- Or turn off comments on specific pages/posts under Post/Page Settings > Discussion.
